The Senior Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining healthcare IT solutions, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. The role requires hands-on experience in software development, a solid understanding of the healthcare domain, and the ability to mentor junior developers. The ideal candidate will play a key role in building cutting-edge solutions that support the company’s goals of transforming healthcare through technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code to develop robust software solutions in line with project requirements and deadlines.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other team members to design and implement software solutions that align with business needs.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, as well as optimize application performance for better efficiency.
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best coding practices, software design, and system architecture.
- Write unit and integration tests, and perform debugging to ensure code quality and functionality.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including QA, business analysts, and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation for reference and reporting.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies and contribute to improving the development process and overall system architecture.
- Identify and resolve complex technical issues in live applications and provide support during critical incidents.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of hands-on software development experience in designing, building, and maintaining web or mobile applications.
- Proficiency in backend and frontend technologies such as Java, Spring / Spring Boot technologies, JavaScript, Angular, or React. Or Experience in working on PACS viewer
- Experience with database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with healthcare standards like HL7, FHIR, and DICOM is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop creative and effective solutions.
- Proven ability to lead by example and guide junior developers on complex technical issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment, with a good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
