We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with 2 years of experience in editing short-form social media content. The role will focus on creating engaging, high-retention videos for Reels and similar formats using fast-paced edits, captions, effects, transitions, and platform-relevant storytelling.

The ideal candidate should understand how to turn raw footage into polished, scroll-stopping videos that match brand tone and audience behavior. Strong command of editing tools, awareness of social media trends, and the ability to deliver content quickly are key expectations for this role.

Key Responsibilities
• Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels and other social platforms in a visually engaging format.
• Transform raw footage into polished videos with strong hooks, clean pacing, captions, transitions, music, and motion elements.
• Create platform-optimized vertical videos, typically in 9:16 format, suitable for mobile-first viewing.
• Add text overlays, subtitles, sound effects, background music, and basic motion graphics to improve engagement.
• Collaborate with the content, marketing, or social media team to understand campaign goals and brand style.
• Stay updated with Instagram Reels trends, editing styles, viral formats, and audience preferences.
• Deliver edits within deadlines while maintaining consistency in quality and file organization.

Core Skills
• Strong short-form video editing and storytelling ability.
• Understanding of Reels editing patterns such as hooks, retention, pacing, and trend-based execution.
• Good sense of transitions, timing, music sync, and visual flow.
• Ability to create engaging captions, overlays, and brand-aligned visual treatments.
• Knowledge of color correction, basic sound cleanup, and export settings for social media.
• Ability to manage multiple edits, revisions, and deadlines efficiently.

• Adobe Premiere Pro.

• Instagram Edits / in-app editing tools.

Requirements
• 2 years of hands-on video editing experience, preferably for social media, digital marketing, or content teams.
• Portfolio/showreel with Reels, short-form videos, or social media edits.
• Good understanding of Instagram content formats, audience engagement, and trend-based editing.
• Ability to take creative feedback and turn around edits quickly.
• Basic knowledge of branding and content strategy is an advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile
• Experience editing for Instagram Reels, creator content, brand campaigns, or paid social ads.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail and strong visual taste.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced content environment.
